FaceVault - Secure Face Recognition Authentication System

FaceVault is a cutting-edge web application that combines robust file encryption with biometric security.

Users can securely encrypt and decrypt files using face recognition as a second-factor authentication method. The system implements end-to-end encryption with client-side key management, ensuring that private keys never leave the client in plaintext.

Built with React, TypeScript, and Node.js, FaceVault uses Web Crypto API for cryptographic operations and face-api.js for facial recognition. All encryption and decryption processes happen client-side, providing a zero-knowledge architecture where the server never has access to face templates or unencrypted files.

The application features secure user registration, face enrollment with liveness detection, file encryption/decryption workflows, and a responsive UI built with Tailwind CSS.
