MeshLink
Chat without internet
Item Description
MeshLink — Communicate Without the Internet
Stay connected when the grid goes down.
MeshLink is an offline mesh messenger for iOS. It uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct to build a peer-to-peer mesh network between nearby devices—no internet, no cell towers, no servers. Messages hop from device to device so you can reach people even when they’re not in direct range.
Why MeshLink?
Works when nothing else does — Festivals, remote areas, power outages, or disasters. If phones can see each other, MeshLink can connect them.
No accounts, no cloud — No sign-up, no email, no central servers. Your data stays on your device and on the devices of people you choose to talk to.
Private by design — End-to-end encryption (Curve25519 + AES-256), optional Face ID/Touch ID lock, and “secret” conversations for sensitive chats.
Built for emergencies — One-tap SOS broadcast that spreads through the whole mesh so nearby peers can see and respond when you need help.
What you can do
Chat — Text, voice notes, images, location, polls, and files, with reactions, replies, and read receipts.
See the network — Mesh Map shows who’s connected and how messages flow; Signal Radar shows nearby peers and signal strength.
Talk in real time — Walkie-talkie push-to-talk and voice calls over the mesh.
Control your presence — Stealth mode, relay on/off, max hop limit, and blocking so you decide how much you participate.
Who it’s for
Preppers & outdoors — Reliable comms when you’re off-grid or in the backcountry.
Events & communities — Crowds, festivals, or campuses where cell networks are slow or overloaded.
Privacy-focused users — People who want messaging without accounts or central servers.
Families & groups — Local coordination and emergency alerts without depending on the internet.
