For developers

• Code: standard Laravel 13 structure. Business rules sit in services shared by the REST API, the web admin and the till sync.
• Data: ULID keys and integer money. Every business-owned table carries the business id, and queries without one fail closed.
• API: a REST API under /api/v1, with an OpenAPI description generated by Scramble.
• Apps: a Flutter workspace (pos_app, pos_core, pos_hardware) with Riverpod and Drift. Receipt printing is ESC/POS, through Windows printers, network, Bluetooth or USB (Android).
• Tests: 538 server tests that pass on MySQL and PostgreSQL, and a Flutter suite for the till.
• Rebranding: docs/REBRANDING.md covers the app name, icons, colours and package id.

Requirements

• PHP 8.3, 8.4 or 8.5 with bcmath, ctype, curl, fileinfo, intl, mbstring, openssl, pdo_mysql or pdo_pgsql, tokenizer, xml, zip.
• MySQL 8+ or PostgreSQL 15+; HTTPS; cron every minute (queue and scheduler).
• To build the apps: Flutter, plus Visual Studio 2022 for Windows, or the Android SDK.

What's in the download

• The server, ready to upload, with vendor/ and the built assets: no Composer or Node needed on the server.
• The Flutter source of the till apps, the Windows installer script, migrations and the demo seeder.
• Guides:
  • installation for cPanel, VPS and SaaS mode, plus Docker Compose;
  • the Windows till, building, security, rebranding, translations and the demo.
• A MANIFEST.txt with the SHA-256 of every file, and third-party licences.
